Age on Other Planets Calculator

Enter your birthday to see how many planetary years you have lived on every planet in the Solar System.

Your birthday

Your age is calculated from the number of Earth days since your birthday and each planet's orbital period around the Sun.

Your Earth age

Why is your age different on other planets?

A year is the time it takes a planet to complete one orbit around the Sun. Because every planet travels along a different orbit, a year is a different length on each planet.

Mercury circles the Sun very quickly, so you would have experienced many more Mercury years than Earth years. Neptune takes much longer to complete an orbit, so your Neptune age is much smaller.

Planet year lengths

Mercury87.97 Earth days
Venus224.70 Earth days
Earth365.26 Earth days
Mars686.98 Earth days
Jupiter4,332.59 Earth days
Saturn10,759.22 Earth days
Uranus30,688.5 Earth days
Neptune60,182 Earth days

How Old Would You Be on Another Planet?

Your age on another planet depends on how long that planet takes to orbit the Sun. Earth takes about 365 days to complete one orbit, which is what we call one Earth year.

Planets closer to the Sun generally complete their orbits more quickly, while the outer planets take much longer. That means your numerical age would be much higher on Mercury and much lower on Neptune.

How Planetary Age Is Calculated

The calculator first determines approximately how many Earth days have passed since your birthday. It then divides that number by the length of one year on each planet.

Planet Age = Days Since Birth ÷ Planet's Orbital Period

For example, a year on Mercury lasts only about 88 Earth days. Someone who has lived for 8,800 Earth days would therefore be about 100 Mercury years old.

Which Planet Makes You the Oldest?

Mercury gives you the largest planetary age because it has the shortest year of any planet in the Solar System.

Mercury completes an orbit around the Sun in only about 88 Earth days, so you experience several Mercury years during a single Earth year.

Which Planet Makes You the Youngest?

Neptune gives you the smallest planetary age. One Neptune year lasts about 165 Earth years, so most people on Earth have not yet lived through even one complete Neptune year.

How Long Is a Year on Each Planet?

MercuryAbout 88 Earth days
VenusAbout 225 Earth days
EarthAbout 365 days
MarsAbout 687 Earth days
JupiterAbout 11.9 Earth years
SaturnAbout 29.5 Earth years
UranusAbout 84 Earth years
NeptuneAbout 165 Earth years

Is This Your Biological Age?

No. You would not actually age faster or slower simply because you were on another planet. This calculator expresses the same amount of elapsed time using each planet's year as the unit of measurement.

So if the calculator says you are 100 years old on Mercury, it means Mercury could have completed about 100 trips around the Sun during your lifetime.

What About Pluto?

Pluto is classified as a dwarf planet rather than one of the eight planets, so it is not included in the main results. A Pluto year lasts roughly 248 Earth years, which would make your Pluto age even smaller than your Neptune age.
